The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to Article 7 of the Law "On State Property Privatization" (re Regulation of the Procedure of Dismissing the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine)

The Law excludes the following regulation from Article 7 of the Law "On State Property Privatization": "the Head of the State Property Fund is appointed and dismissed by the President of Ukraine at the consent of The Verkhovna Rada", as it contradicts Paragraph 12, Part 1 of Article 85 of the Constitution of Ukraine, pursuant to which, appointment and dismissal of the Head of the State Property Fund refers to the competence of The Verkhovna Rada and is effected due to the submission of the Prime-Minister.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.1262.
